Q. How is the winner determined?
A. Generally, it’s first come, first served, so the sooner you get there, the better. The comment you leave on the blog also matters. You get bonus points if your comment reveals that you might be particularly interested in the book and would enjoy it. I won’t be the one to decide the winners. Another person who doesn’t know any of you will be handling that.

Q. Am I eligible if I am a friend or someone who has read the book previously?
A. You are eligible as long as you are not an immediate family member.

Q. Will there be another chance to get an autographed book copy?
A. There will be another chance. The first several people to preorder the book will get an autographed copy in addition to what they order. They can donate the one they ordered or give it away.

Q. Do I have to subscribe to your blog to enter the contest?
A. Yes, but you can unsubscribe/unfollow as soon as the contest ends if that’s your wish. I get that there are many things to read and that people want you to subscribe to these days, so no worries.

Q. If I win a copy of the book and don’t review or comment on it, will you be mad?
A. If you win a copy of the book, you are not obligated to review it or tell me your thoughts. I will not be mad. The book deals with dark issues and, like every other book I write, is not for the faint of heart.

Q. Can I refuse the prize I win?
A. Yes. Or you can exchange it for any lesser prize.

Q. Do I have to provide my home address?
A. If you win an autographed paperback, you must provide an address. I don’t care if it’s your home address, P.O. Box, or someone else’s address, as long as it is in the United States. I am the only one who will see it because I will send out the prizes. You can also opt for a Kindle version.

Q. Do I have to provide my address if I win a Kindle book?
A. You must provide your e-mail address or any e-mail address where it will reach you.

Q. I will be working on Saturday and may be unable to get to the blog when it’s released (to like and comment.)
A. If you are working on Saturday or have another emergency, get to the blog when you can and let me know in the comments that you weren’t available earlier.
